Power Up: How to Extend the Life of Your Rechargeable Toys
You invested in a premium Lovense or We-Vibe device. Don't let the battery die a premature death. Lithium-ion batteries (found in all modern rechargeable toys) require specific care.
The "40-80" Rule
Lithium batteries hate extremes. Don't keep them at 100% charge for months, and never let them sit at 0%. Try to keep them somewhere in the middle if you are storing them long-term.
Charge Before Storage
If you put a toy away with a dead battery, it might enter "deep discharge" state and never wake up. Always give it a 30-minute top-up before putting it in your storage bag.
Avoid the Bathroom Outlet
Bathrooms are humid. Moisture can corrode charging pins over time. Charge your devices in a dry, cool room (like the bedroom). And never, ever use a fast-charger (like a MacBook block) unless the manual says so—it can fry the small motor.
